As a mother of a toddler, taking a break from the daily routine and going on vacation seems like a dream. However, not everyone can take time off from work and travel to a far-off location. That’s where a staycation comes in. A staycation is a vacation at home or nearby, allowing you to relax and explore your local area. In this blog post, I’ll share some of my staycation ideas that I have found helpful for my family and me.
First and foremost, setting up your home for a staycation is crucial. To create a relaxing atmosphere, declutter your home, and create a spa-like ambiance. You can light some candles, play soothing music, and set up a cozy spot to relax and read a book. It’s also important to make sure you have all the essentials you’ll need, such as snacks, drinks, and entertainment options.
Next, plan some fun activities for you and your family. There is no need to spend several dollars on such trips; instead, you can have a movie marathon, play board games, or picnic in your backyard. If you’re feeling adventurous, try a new outdoor activity, like hiking or biking, or explore local attractions like museums or parks. Make sure to involve your toddler in the activities so they also have a fun time.
While staycationing, wearing a comfortable and classy yet effortless outfit can also make one feel cherished. Therefore I chose to wear this SMOOTH LOUNGE LOW-BACK KEYHOLE DRESS from Skims it is extremely snuggly and ravishing.
I paired it with a plush low-wedge sandal from my only favorite footwear brand DSW that makes running around my toddler way manageable. Lastly, I wanted to add a functional piece of bag that would fit most of the necessary stuff in it, so what would be a better option than a basket bag?
It consisted of almost everything I needed to carry while wandering around feasibly. Here is another option. Do not forget to carry along your shades as a staycation look would be incomplete without it.

I hope my look and a few bits of advice will aid mothers of toddlers in managing some quality time to
enjoy.
